Blog 5: A photograph

I have to admit that I don't know much about photography composition, but in university I have made very good friends who are awesome in this area. For the same reason I decided to choose this picture.

This photograph was taken on October 25th of last year, during the largest social manifestation. At this protest attended 1.2 million people. 

The photo it was taken by Piero Bassi, a friend who studies architecture in my faculty. My friend has more photos of this day, but I think this is my favorite.

I like it for two reasons:

The photo was taken with an analog camera and I really like the aesthetics of old photography.

And another reason is because it reminds me of many sensations that I felt in October 2019. My feet don’t appear in this photo, but every time that I go to a march I try to scale the bus stops. I really like that feeling of seeing all protesting. Even if it’s a little scary, when you get upstairs and sit down, the emotion is always great.
